ABOUT THE FOUNDER of SAMADHI HEALING ARTS
Nina Lombardo, BA, LMT, is a graduate from the Florida School of Massage and is a certified Thai Massage practitioner and instructor. She has devoted thousands of hours to the practice and study of Vedic Thai Massage, including a yearlong apprenticeship with her mentor, Ariela Grodner, advanced training in Marma Chikitsā with Ayurvedic physician, Dr. Vasant Lad, and further studies at the Sunshine School of Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Nina is also a board approved Continuing Education Provider in the state of Florida and offers several courses in Thai Massage for both beginners and advanced practitioners alike.
Nina is committed to the well-being of her clients, and aims to foster therapeutic relationships that promote deeper senses of connection, embodiment and internal awareness. Combining both her attentive presence and vast knowledge of human form and movement, she cultivates spaces in which clients feel both cared for and empowered to take care of themselves.
The product of Nina's work is a culmination of her studies in yoga, Ayurveda, folk medicine, ecotherapy, mindfulness-based practices, dance, music, and somatic therapy. Her practice is inspired by her ever-deepening explorations within the field of intimacy, and she is passionate about discovering the boundless ways we are able to connect with the pulse of Now through embodied, creative practices. In her classes and private sessions, she integrates elements of improvisation and intuitive awareness, believing that the deepest connections occur when we are able to surrender to each moment with curiosity, compassion, and presence.
Additionally, Nina has spent the past decade immersed in the sacred feminine arts, and through workshops, ceremonies, and private sessions, she helps to provide women with somatic-based tools to embody more love and rewrite new narratives of empowerment, intimacy, and sexuality. “The foundation of my work lies in my complete fascination of the human form. Every body is a puzzle, every person a story. Each time I make contact with an individual, I am filled with reverence and compassion.”
